“Mirabilis Finishes' craftsmen provided my client, NOP, a large Market Research firm, with two different “stucco luccio” type finishes for their reception areas. Our site for this job was situated in an old factory building, The Chelsea Market in NYC, and we wanted to keep this character in juxtaposition to the new installations.

When a visitor to these offices first steps from the elevators their 1st view is of the receptionists sitting in front of the refined surfaces that Mirabilis Finishes provided. The light and texture of these finishes have been described by some of the employees as “3-dimensional abstract landscape” and one of the receptionists told me “people often ask me if they can touch it, it's so silky”.

This year is the 10th anniversary of that job and it is still as beautiful as the day he finished it; the surfaces are durable and have never needed to be refinished or repaired. Mirabilis Finishes worked with me closely to develop the “look” I desired and provided lots of samples, the installation was on time and easily managed with the contractors, and their budget was very economical, considering the level of quality achieved.
